Our bridge inflatable core mold, also named rubber culvert balloon, is a reusable flexible concrete inflatable formwork engineered for hollow concrete structure molding. It is fabricated via high-temperature vulcanization, adopting double-layer natural rubber outer coating with 3-5 layers high-strength polyester cord fabric embedded as reinforcement. Unlike cheap single-layer alternatives, the integrated vulcanization process eliminates peeling, air leakage and delamination risks, delivering stable structural performance under long-term cyclic use. The smooth seamless outer surface prevents concrete adhesion and ensures neat inner cavity finishes after demolding.
This core mold boasts superior comprehensive mechanical properties. It maintains excellent air tightness under standard working pressure ranging from 0.02MPa to 0.12MPa, resisting lateral extrusion pressure from wet concrete pouring without bulging or rupture. It features wide temperature adaptability, operating normally in environments from -10℃ to 90℃, and withstands alkaline corrosion from cement mortar, ultraviolet radiation and outdoor weathering. With anti-aging and wear-resistant additives blended in rubber materials, it can be reused over 80 times for standard construction projects, far exceeding wooden and steel disposable formworks.
The product brings prominent on-site construction convenience. Before concrete pouring, simply position the folded core mold in the reserved steel bar framework, inflate it with an air pump to rated pressure and seal the inflation valve. After concrete curing reaches targeted hardness, release internal air for rapid shrinkage, then extract the mold easily without scratching or cracking solidified concrete. It supports customized shapes including circular, oval and rectangular cross-sections, with customizable lengths up to 30 meters for segmented assembly.
Widely applied in bridge hollow beam slabs, highway culverts, municipal drainage tunnels and water conservancy box culverts, it cuts overall construction costs significantly. It occupies minimal storage space when folded, requires no heavy lifting equipment for installation, and reduces labor time by 40% compared with traditional steel formworks. All products undergo strict air tightness and pressure endurance tests before delivery to meet international civil engineering quality standards.
