About GCr15 / 100Cr6 / SUJ2 Bearing Steel Round Bar
GCr15 (Chinese designation) is a high-carbon, high-chromium alloy steel primarily used for bearings, and also popular as a cost-effective wear-resistant mold steel / guide pillar material. It is the Chinese equivalent of AISI 52100 (USA) and SUJ2 (JIS Japan), and commonly referred to in Europe as 100Cr6.
Our GCr15 round bars are available in ground (precision ground) finish, cut to length ("zero cut" / close-tolerance saw cut), and can be supplied in annealed or pre-machined condition.
