Stainless Steel Plate & Sheet – The Standard Choice for Corrosion-Resistant Applications
Stainless steel plates and sheets are flat-rolled products manufactured from stainless steel through hot rolling and cold rolling processes. With chromium content of at least 10.5%, stainless steel forms a passive chromium oxide layer that provides excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of environments.
Key characteristics:
Corrosion resistance – Excellent resistance to rust, staining, and chemical attack
High strength – Good mechanical properties with ductility
Hygienic – Easy to clean, non-porous surface – ideal for food/pharma
Heat resistance – Many grades perform well at elevated temperatures
Aesthetic appeal – Available in multiple surface finishes
Recyclable – 100% recyclable with no loss of properties
Low maintenance – Long service life with minimal upkeep
Product classification:
| Classification | Thickness Range | Manufacturing Process | Typical Applications |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cold Rolled Sheet | 0.3 mm – 6.0 mm | Cold rolled from hot rolled coil | Kitchenware, appliances, trim, medical equipment |
| Hot Rolled Plate | 3.0 mm – 100 mm+ | Hot rolled from slab | Pressure vessels, chemical tanks, structural |
Typical applications: Food processing equipment, chemical storage tanks, pharmaceutical vessels, architectural cladding, kitchen equipment, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, automotive trim, elevator panels, medical devices, and desalination plants.
Each batch includes EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate with full chemical and mechanical data. Third-party inspection (SGS, BV, TÜV) supported. MOQ: 500 kg – 1 ton, trial orders welcome.
