ORTM Series – Rotary Table Bearings with Integral Angle Measurement System
The ORTM series is a high‑precision bearing solution that integrates an angle measurement system directly into the ORT turntable bearing platform. This integration allows for angle measurement with an accuracy of up to 1 arc second, making the ORTM series exceptionally suitable for applications where precise angular positioning is critical.
Why Integrated Angle Measurement?
Angular displacement measurement plays a vital role in modern industrial automation, particularly in the machine tool industry. Workpiece rotation angles must be strictly controlled to achieve high machining accuracy. The ORTM series eliminates the need for external encoders by embedding the measurement system directly into the bearing, saving space, reducing assembly complexity, and improving system reliability.
Measurement Technology
