Qingdao Jiguang Environmental & Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jiguang Technology) was established on January 30, 2019 and is located in Laoshan District, Qingdao. The core equipment of the membrane-covered system is the GT-composite membrane (covering membrane) that is placed on the livestock manure pile. The film is assembled from an e-PTEF film mating substrate which is sandwiched between two layers of a strong polyurethane substrate film. The e-PTEF film is uniformly distributed with pores of 0.2 μm pore size, and the polyurethane film has the characteristics of ultraviolet protection and corrosion resistance. The high-temperature aerobic fermentation pre-fermentation reactor is sealed with the membrane-sealed livestock and poultry manure to shield the wind and rain from the adverse weather, and at the same time, the carbon dioxide gas and water vapor entangled in the treatment process can be quickly discharged. The water permeability of the membrane affects the change of moisture during the treatment process, which requires the material to be too wet and retain sufficient moisture for the degradation of the material. The e-PTEF membrane has a certain insulation and pressurization effect, which can help the system maintain the temperature, so that the oxygen concentration and temperature in the stack are evenly distributed, which is beneficial to the temperature condition of the entire heap to kill the pathogen. The 0.2 μm pore size micropores on the e-PTEF membrane are effective physical barriers to dust, aerosols and microorganisms, preventing them from spreading out. During the pre-fermentation process, a film of condensed water is formed on the inner surface of the membrane; most of the odorous substances in the exhaust gas, such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, volatile organic compounds (VOC), etc., are dissolved in the water film. Then, it will fall back to the pile with water droplets, where it will continue to be decomposed by microorganisms. The cover film can reduce the odor concentration in the fermentation process by 90%-97%, and reduce the microorganisms in the exhaust gas by more than 99%. 1. Product Overview
The semi-permeable e-PTFE membrane composting system is a specialized closed aerobic fermentation solution designed for municipal domestic organic waste, including household kitchen waste, catering waste, garden green waste and sorted urban organic residues. 2. Working Principle for Domestic Waste Treatment
Domestic organic waste features high water content, easy decay, strong odor and variable impurities, which puts forward higher requirements for ventilation, deodorization and moisture control. The e-PTFE membrane material has a precise micropore structure of 0.2–0.5 μm, achieving selective molecular permeability targeted for domestic waste composting. Air and water vapor molecules can freely pass through the membrane to ensure continuous oxygen supply for aerobic microbes and discharge of fermentation water vapor. In contrast, odor molecules, ammonia, VOCs, dust particles and pathogenic bacteria generated by decomposing domestic waste are completely intercepted inside the composting space. Cooperated with micro-positive pressure aeration, the system maintains a stable internal fermentation atmosphere, avoids anaerobic odor accumulation caused by uneven decomposition of domestic waste, and prevents rainwater penetration and secondary pollution in outdoor operating conditions.

3.2 Micro-pressure Uniform Aeration System
Consisting of low-noise fans and uniform air distribution pipelines, the system supplies gentle and stable oxygen to the domestic waste pile. It solves the problem of local anaerobic corruption caused by high humidity and dense stacking of kitchen waste, ensures overall aerobic fermentation, and greatly reduces odor generation at the source.
3.3 Intelligent Temperature and Humidity Control System
Equipped with real-time temperature, oxygen and humidity sensors, the system automatically adjusts aeration volume and frequency according to the fermentation state of domestic waste. It stably maintains the high-temperature fermentation range of 55–70 °C, thoroughly kills bacteria, parasite eggs and weed seeds in domestic waste, and meets municipal harmless treatment standards.
