The air compressor for the laser cutting machine is configured according to the processing requirements with air compressors of different air volumes and pressures. Most laser cutting machines require a pressure of 10 to 12 kilograms for processing. In some cases, the pressure needs to reach 15 kilograms. In terms of air volume, most are between 1 cubic meter and 2 cubic meters. The power of the selected air compressor is from 7.5KW to 15KW. The laser cutting machine needs a gas source as power during operation, and it is a gas source with pressure. The pressure generally needs to be 10 to 12 kilograms. A 500W laser cutting machine requires an air volume of about 1 cubic meter per minute. There are generally three types of gas sources: nitrogen, oxygen, and compressed air. In terms of the use of these three gases, buying a screw air compressor with a power of 7.5KW and a pressure of 13 kilograms can meet the processing requirements. Generally, the price of a barrel of liquid oxygen is about 500 yuan. If it is used for 8 hours a day, it will be used up in about 4 days. The electricity cost for the compressed air obtained by the screw air compressor is about 240 yuan (assuming the electricity price is 1 yuan per kilowatt - hour, the cost of a 7.5KW air compressor working 8 hours a day is about 60 yuan per day), which is about half less than using liquid oxygen.
A 500W laser cutting machine is generally equipped with a 7.5KW screw air compressor with a pressure of 10 to 12 kilograms. The specific pressure depends on the thickness of the cutting product. If high - quality air is required, a refrigerated dryer and a gas storage tank also need to be equipped, so that the qualification rate of the produced products will be higher.
