1. Product Overview
Chinese Name: Checkered Steel Plate (Anti-slip Plate / Embossed Plate) | English Name: Checkered Steel Plate / Diamond Plate
Checkered plate is hot-rolled from qualified steel slabs with integrated raised anti-slip patterns rolled onto the base substrate. Nominal thickness refers to base plate thickness, excluding the height of raised patterns. Featuring excellent anti-slip load-bearing capacity, high wear resistance and decorative appearance, the product supports cutting, bending, welding and galvanizing for anti-corrosion treatment, widely used as general anti-slip steel for industrial flooring. It complies with national standard GB/T33974-2017 Hot-rolled Checkered Steel Plate and Strip.

3.1 Carbon Steel Checkered Plate (Core Supply Item)
Q235BOrdinary carbon structural steel with minimum yield strength ≥235MPa, favorable ductility and excellent cutting & welding performance with cost advantage. Bare surface gets rust easily under open-air condition and can be protected by paint or hot-dip galvanizing. Ideal for indoor factory flooring, staircases and steel structure platforms.
Q355BHigh-strength low-alloy steel with minimum yield strength ≥355MPa, far superior to Q235B on compression and impact resistance. Suitable for heavy-duty equipment base, heavy workshop floor, vehicle chassis and outdoor construction projects.
Chemical composition conforms to GB/T700 & GB/T1591; mill test certificate supplied with goods.
3.2 Optional Special Grades for Custom Order
Shipbuilding Grade: CCSB / AH36: Good seawater corrosion resistance for marine deck, complying with GB712 ship plate standard
Weathering Steel: Q355NH: Natural atmospheric corrosion resistance without extra coating for outdoor footpath and municipal engineering
Stainless Steel 304/316: Full rust-proof for food processing & damp chemical workshop (quotation on request)
