1. Product Classification
1.1 Classification by Cross-Section Shape (Core Classification)
Equal Angle Steel: Both sides have the same width, marked as "∠ side width × side thickness", e.g. ∠50×50×5mm. The model is represented by the centimeter value of side width (e.g. 5#), with specifications ranging from 2# to 20# (side width 20–200mm).
Unequal Angle Steel: The two sides have different widths, marked as "∠ long side × short side × side thickness", e.g. ∠63×40×6mm. Specifications range from 3.2/2# to 20/12.5#, including equal-thickness and unequal-thickness types.
1.2 Classification by Production Process
Hot Rolled Angle Steel: The mainstream process with high strength and low cost, complying with GB/T 706-2016.
Cold Formed Angle Steel: Features uniform wall thickness, high precision and smooth surface, suitable for light-duty structures, complying with GB/T 6723-2017.
Galvanized Angle Steel: Treated by hot-dip galvanizing with a zinc layer of 30–50μm, excellent corrosion resistance, applicable for outdoor and humid environments.
1.3 Classification by Material Grade
Carbon Structural Steel: Q235B (most commonly used), Q275, with high cost performance.
High-Strength Low-Alloy Steel: Q355B with higher strength, applied for heavy-load structures.

2.3 Length and Tolerance
Standard fixed lengths: 4m, 6m, 9m, 12m (6m/12m are the most commonly used).
Dimension tolerance: side width ±1mm; side thickness ±0.3–±0.5mm; bending degree ≤3mm/m.
3. Material, Chemical Composition and Mechanical Properties (Q235B as Standard)
Chemical Composition (%): C≤0.22, Mn=0.30–0.65, P≤0.045, S≤0.045.
Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength 370–500MPa, yield strength ≥235MPa, elongation ≥26%.

7. Packaging & Delivery
Packaging: Delivered in bundles (2–5 tons per bundle) with anti-rust paint or galvanized surface treatment. Both ends are labeled with specifications, material and batch number.
