Detailed Specification of Cold Rolled Steel Coil
Cold Rolled Steel Coil (CRC) is produced by using hot rolled steel coil as raw material. After pickling to remove oxide scale, it is continuously rolled at room temperature. Featuring smooth surface, precise dimension, high strength and excellent stamping performance, it is a fundamental metal material widely used in automobile, home appliance and light industry industries.
1. Production Process
Main process flow: Hot rolled steel coil → Pickling → Cold rolling → Annealing (optional) → Finishing → Slitting & Packaging
Cold rolling: Continuous rolling at normal temperature to control thickness accurately with smooth surface free of oxide layer.
Annealing treatment: Non-annealed hard cold rolled coil owns high hardness but poor ductility; annealed coil restores good ductility and stamping property to meet complex forming requirements.

Thickness: 0.06–3.2mm, conventional size 0.3–2.5mm
Width: 750–1650mm, common width 1000/1250/1500mm
Inner diameter: 508mm (mainstream), 610mm
Coil weight: 6–26 tons, regular weight 6–13.5 tons

FA (O1): Ordinary surface with slight defects allowed
FB (O3): High-grade surface, suitable for painting and electroplating
FD (O5): Premium surface without defects, used for high-end appearance parts
3. Product Features
Superior surface finish: Smooth surface without oxide scale and rust, easy for painting and electroplating.
High dimensional accuracy: Strict thickness and width tolerance with good flatness.
Adjustable physical performance: Annealed coil has good ductility; hard rolled coil has high strength and hardness.

5. Packaging & Marking
Adopt horizontal packaging, wrapped with anti-rust paper and waterproof plastic film, fixed with iron corner protectors for moisture-proof and rust-proof. Clear marks including steel grade, size, coil weight, batch number, execution standard and production date are attached for traceability.

7. Delivery Condition
Annealed cold rolled coil: Good ductility, ideal for stamping and bending
