Serial to USB HID Converter Cable for Industrial & Retail Applications
Product Spotlights
This USB to RS232 HID protocol converter cable is designed to convert standard RS232 serial data into USB HID keyboard/mouse protocol signals, enabling legacy serial devices to communicate with modern USB-only computers without additional drivers.
Built with a built-in protocol conversion chip, the cable converts incoming RS232 data into keystroke or mouse movement events, which are recognized as standard USB HID devices by the host system. The black PVC jacket ensures durability and flexibility, while the USB-A and DB9 connectors provide a secure connection to both the host and the serial device. The cable is ideal for industrial equipment, barcode scanners, POS systems, and other devices that output serial data but need to interface with USB-only systems.
Fully plug-and-play, no external drivers required, supporting multiple baud rates and custom key mapping configurations to suit different application needs.
