The wastewater treatment methods for farms can be simply summarized as physical treatment, chemical treatment, and biological treatment. The most widely used method is biological treatment, which mainly converts the organic matter in the sewage into new microbial cells and simple inorganic substances through the life process of microorganisms, thereby achieving the purpose of removing organic matter.
The wastewater flows into the grille tank by gravity. Its function is to remove the solid suspended solids in the sewage. Then the wastewater flows to the regulating tank, where the water volume and water quality are effectively regulated. It is sent to the anoxic tank by the lift pump. In the anoxic tank, the sewage undergoes anaerobic digestion to remove some pollutants, and some difficult-to-degrade organic substances are converted into easily degradable substances, which is beneficial to aerobic digestion treatment. After flowing into the aerobic tank, a large amount of active biofilm is adsorbed on the filler. Under the condition of sufficient oxygen, the bacteria in the biofilm devour a large amount of organic pollutants in the sewage for metabolism, and remove the organic pollutants in the water to the greatest extent. The suspended solids in the water settle into the sludge hopper. After the sludge is concentrated in the hopper for a period of time, it is regularly returned to the regulating tank. The remaining sludge is discharged into the drying tank for drying and recycling treatment. The effluent is discharged up to the standard after subsequent treatment in the facultative pond.

The sewage treatment equipment for pig farms/chicken farms/cattle farms is an integrated sewage treatment equipment composed of a hydrolysis tank, an aerobic tank, a sedimentation tank, a sludge tank, an equipment room, and an electric control part. Its function is to remove organic matter in water and achieve nitrogen removal.
1. Characteristics of sewage treatment equipment for pig/ chicken/ cattle farms
1. Buried below the ground surface, the ground above the equipment can be used for greening or other purposes. There is no need to build a house or provide heating and insulation.
2. The two-stage biological contact oxidation treatment process uses plug-flow biological contact oxidation. Its treatment effect is better than that of the completely mixed or two-stage series completely mixed biological contact oxidation tank. It is smaller in volume than the activated sludge tank, has strong adaptability to water quality, good shock load resistance, stable effluent quality, and will not cause sludge bulking. A new type of elastic three-dimensional filler is used in the tank, with a large specific surface area. Microorganisms can easily form and shed biofilms. Under the same organic load conditions, it has a high removal rate of organic matter and can increase the solubility of oxygen in the air in water.
3. The biochemical tank uses the biological contact oxidation method. The volume load of its filler is relatively low, and the microorganisms are in the self-oxidation stage, with less sludge production. It is only necessary to discharge sludge once every three months (90 days) or more (sucked by a manure truck or dewatered into mud cakes for external transportation).
4. In addition to the conventional high-altitude exhaust, the buried domestic sewage treatment equipment is also equipped with soil deodorization measures.
5. The entire equipment processing system is equipped with a fully automatic electrical control system and an equipment fault alarm system. It operates safely and reliably. Generally, no dedicated personnel are required for management on a daily basis. Only timely maintenance and upkeep of the equipment are needed.
