Black crescent-pattern PVK conveyor belts can be summarized as: a multi-functional lightweight conveyor belt that is anti-slip, oil-resistant, economical, and hygienic.
It is a lightweight conveyor belt with a PVC and NBR blend as the cover layer and a crescent-shaped pattern on thesurface. They are widely used in inclined conveying scenarios in industries such as food, logistics, packaging, and electronics.
Their main features are as follows:
I. Core Functional Features (Brought by the "Crescent Pattern")
1. Excellent Anti-slip Properties and Large Inclination Angle Conveying Capability.
This is the core function of the crescent pattern. The crescent-shaped raised texture on the surface effectively increases the friction between the conveyor and materials (especially bagged and boxed items), preventing materials from sliding or rolling back duringinclined conveying.
It allows the conveyor to operate at a larger inclination angle, thereby saving equipment space and investment costs.
2. Stable Guiding Properties.

The crescent pattern typically has a certain directionality. When the conveyor belt is running, the tread pattern provides a micro-guiding effect
towards the center, helping to prevent the material from veering to either side during transport.
This is particularly suitable for conveying small or easily rolling items.
3. Effectively Prevents Adhesion.
Compared to a completely smooth flat conveyor belt, the raised crescent-shaped tread pattern reduces the actual contact area between the
material and the conveyor belt. This provides a certain degree of anti-sticking effect for slightly damp or sticky materials
(such as frozen foods, flour bags, etc.), facilitating unloading and cleaning.
II. Material Performance Characteristics. (Derived from "PVK" Material)
1. Excellent Oil Resistance.
PVK material contains NBR, giving it excellent resistance to oily substances. In oily environments such as food processing
(e.g., meat, fried foods) or machining, it is less prone to aging, swelling, or deformation.
2. Good Wear Resistance and Durability.
PVK material itself has high mechanical strength, good wear resistance, and a long service life.
The black overlay further enhances its wear resistance and tear resistance.
3. Non-toxic and meets food hygiene standards:
High-quality PVK conveyor belts typically meet FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) or EU (European Union) standards for food contact
materials. They are non-toxic and odorless, suitable for direct food contact applications.
4. Waterproof, moisture-proof, and corrosion-resistant:
The PVC composition makes them completely waterproof and highly resistant to most acids, alkalis, and salts.
They are easy to clean and suitable for use in humid environments or environments requiring frequent washing (such as beverage factories
and cleaning workshops).
5. Flexible and easy to process:
PVK conveyor belts are soft and easy to cut, fasten, and splice. They can be made into various loop types, and are easy to install and maintain.
III. Other Comprehensive Features.
1. Clean and hygienic:
Although the surface pattern is non-slip, the structure is not complex and does not easily trap dirt.
They can be easily cleaned with a high-pressure water gun or detergent.
2. Economical and Practical.
Compared to pure rubber or Teflon conveyor belts, PVK conveyor belts are relatively inexpensive while offering excellent oil resistance,
wear resistance, and slip resistance, making them highly cost-effective.
