Product introduction

First, the raw petroleum coke is calcined at high temperatures (typically between 1200°C and 1400°C) to remove volatiles and moisture, transforming it into a more stable material. The calcined petroleum coke then undergoes graphitization at extremely high temperatures (above approximately 2500°C). This process rearranges the carbon atoms in the petroleum coke into a graphite structure, giving it higher electrical conductivity, higher temperature resistance, and better mechanical strength.

Graphitized petroleum coke is widely used in various fields, primarily including:


Aluminum electrolysis industry: In aluminum electrolysis cells, graphitized petroleum coke is used as an electrode material. It possesses good electrical conductivity and high-temperature resistance, enabling it to withstand the high temperatures and chemical reactions during electrolysis.


Battery industry: Especially in the negative electrode materials of lithium batteries, graphitized petroleum coke serves as a high-quality carbon source, improving battery performance and charge/discharge efficiency.


Steel industry: Used in blast furnace smelting processes, graphitized petroleum coke provides a highly efficient carbon source, enhancing smelting efficiency.
