Working Principle
The core mechanism involves two parallel, counter-rotating shafts equipped with a series of cutting discs or "rotors." As material is fed into the hopper, the intermeshing cutters on the two shafts grab, shear, tear, and crush the material between them. The low rotational speed (typically 6-25 RPM) combined with extremely high torque allows it to handle tough, dense objects. Advanced models feature an automatic sensor system that reverses the shafts if an overload is detected, preventing jams and damage.
