Cold-rolled steel sheet is produced from hot-rolled steel by cold rolling at room temperature, with common grades including SPCC, DC01, and ST12. It offers high surface quality, precise dimensional accuracy, and excellent formability, meeting customers’ strict requirements for surface finish and thickness tolerance.
In terms of applications, cold-rolled steel is widely used in automotive manufacturing, home appliance shells, office furniture, and stamping parts. For example, SPCC is used for computer chassis and refrigerator panels, DC01 for automotive interior parts and oil drums, and ST12 for deep-drawn parts such as fuel tanks and lamp housings. Customers often focus on the material’s ductility and tensile strength to ensure no cracking during stamping.
