Product Introduction

Fully Automatic Tension Controller KTC828A is a high-precision, multi-functional all-digital intelligent tension controller. It forms a closed-loop tension control system in conjunction with a tension detector. By receiving the signals transmitted by the LX series tension detectors and after internal PID operation and processing, it adjusts the actuator to automatically control the tension of material winding and unwinding. The KTC-828A tension controller uses a new graphic liquid crystal display, with clearer Chinese and English displays. It issues a control voltage instruction of 0~24VDC for magnetic powder clutches/brakes, and can also output a 0~10V voltage signal to control frequency converters, servo motors or other actuators for high-precision tension control of coils. It is widely used in industries such as printing, packaging, papermaking, cables, rubber and plastics, electronic batteries, and textile printing and dyeing.

Functional Features

1. It uses a 128x96 graphic liquid crystal display, with the option of Chinese or English display, and has a user-friendly operation interface.

2. With a digital design and no adjustable potentiometers, the tension calibration process is simple, and the tension measurement is accurate, stable and reliable.

3. It can receive single-channel or dual-channel sensor input signals and is suitable for various tension sensors as input signals:

a. A differential special tension sensor can be selected (input signal range is 200mV, power supply is 5V)

b. A strain gauge tension sensor can be selected (input signal range is 20mV, power supply is 10V)

c. An angle potentiometer can be selected for floating roller tension control.

4. An optional serial communication function is available. An RS485 communication interface can be selected to form a distributed system with PLCs and PCs (communication function is optional).

5. It uses a non-overshoot PID algorithm to ensure no overshoot of tension during system start/stop.

6. It has a dual-axis switching function and an acceleration/deceleration control function.

7. Automatic/manual control can be switched in a non-disturbing way.

8. Parameter password protection is provided to prevent accidental modification.

9. It uses a highly adaptable switching power supply (165~264VAC) to ensure long-term reliable operation.
