Steel Wire Rope & Galvanized Steel Strand,65#、70#、75#、80#
I. Product Overview
Steel strand is a spiral metal product made of multiple high-strength carbon steel wires (commonly 82B high-carbon steel) through cold drawing, stranding, and stabilization treatment. It features ultra-high strength, excellent toughness, low relaxation, and fatigue resistance, serving as the core load-bearing material for prestressed concrete, electric power, and geotechnical engineering.
II. Material & Standards
Material: High-quality high-carbon steel wire rod (82B) with a carbon content of 0.80%-0.85%, processed into high-strength steel wires through cold drawing.
Implementation Standards: National Standard GB/T 5224, American Standard ASTM A416, British Standard BS 5896.
Surface Treatment: Bright (uncoated), galvanized, epoxy coated, unbonded (grease + PE sheath).
III. Structure & Specifications
1. Common Structures
1×7 Structure (mainstream): 1 central wire + 6 outer wires, most widely used.
1×2, 1×3 Structures: Suitable for small components and stay wires.
1×19 Structure: Better flexibility, suitable for large-span and complex working conditions.
2. Main Specifications (Including Model & Material, Presented in Table)
Core Material: The entire series adopts 82B high-carbon steel wire rod (carbon content 0.80%-0.85%), processed into high-strength steel wires through cold drawing, complying with GB/T 5224, ASTM A416 and BS 5896 standards.
Model Explanation: S stands for steel strand, 1×7 is the structure type. After the hyphen are nominal diameter (mm), strength grade (MPa), and relaxation grade (LC for low relaxation) in sequence. Suffix can be added according to surface treatment (e.g., G for galvanized, E for epoxy coated, U for unbonded).

Strong Durability: Coating or galvanizing can greatly improve the anti-corrosion service life.
High Cost-Effectiveness: Lower cost under the same bearing capacity, convenient and efficient construction.
IX. Packaging & Delivery
Packaging: Shaftless coil (net weight about 2.5-3 tons), spool packaging.
Length: No joints per coil, customizable on demand (conventional length ≥200m).
Delivery Time: 5-7 days.
X. Selection Tips
Select appropriate diameter and strength according to engineering load (priority to 1860MPa low relaxation type).
For corrosive environments, select galvanized, epoxy coated or unbonded steel strands.
Confirm that the product complies with relevant standards and request quality guarantee certificate and mechanical performance report.
Match the corresponding anchor and fixture models when purchasing.
