Overview of the SUN Battery series
Since 2004, our own brand SUN Battery has stood for AGM batteries of the highest quality and the latest technology. It also offers a large selection of VdS-approved batteries. The maintenance-free lead batteries of the SUN Battery series are characterised by a high energy density and a wide range of dimensions and connection technologies. With SUN Battery, we have been successfully supplying original equipment to well-known manufacturers of safety-relevant systems for many years.
With a total of 5 warehouse locations, Battery-Kutter offers its customers the largest stock of VdS batteries in Germany, including customised logistics solutions. Benefit from our extensive product range in our B2B online shop:
Standard 6 V
The maintenance-free lead-acid batteries in the SUN Battery Standard series are characterised by a high energy density and a wide range of dimensions and connection technologies. The 6 V batteries are ideal for supplying power to hazard alarm systems, medical accessories and much more.
Standard 12 V
The 12V rechargeable batteries in the Standard series are ideal as back-up batteries for various security systems such as burglar and fire alarm systems, smoke/heat extraction systems, emergency power systems (UPS) and medical accessories. These models have a service life of 6 - 9 / 10 - 12 years according to EUROBAT.
High Rate (HR)
In the same installation space as the batteries in our standard 12V series, the high rate batteries offer approx. 20 % more capacity and can provide a particularly high amount of current for short-term discharging with less self-discharge. The main areas of application are UPS systems, emergency power systems and medical applications.
High Cycle (HC)
The High Cycle batteries have been specially developed for demanding cyclic operation and meet the increasing demand for high-cycle applications. With careful maintenance and care, the cycle stability can reach approx. 450 - 650 cycles at 50 % depth of discharge. The batteries are suitable for a wide range of cyclic requirements and applications, such as rehabilitation technology (electric wheelchairs, stair lifts), wind/solar energy systems, caravans/motorhomes, sailing and electric boats.
Front terminal
Our front terminal series (FT) fulfils all requirements for valve-regulated lead-acid batteries and, in addition to excellent discharge performance, offers a service life of up to 12 years according to EUROBAT. The most common areas of application are uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) as well as telecommunication and safety lighting systems.
