Product Name: Hot Rolled Steel Coil (HRC / Hot Rolled Coil)
Definition: Produced from continuous casting slabs, heated to 1100–1250°C, rolled through roughing and finishing mills, cooled by laminar flow, and coiled into strip coils. It is one of the most widely used basic steel products in the steel industry.

5. Product Features
High strength & toughness: Yield strength 235–450MPa, good load-bearing, anti-deformation and impact resistance
Good weldability: Suitable for arc welding, submerged arc welding, MIG/MAG welding
Excellent cold bending & formability: Elongation ≥20%, can be bent, stamped, rolled into pipes
Surface condition: Black coils with blue-gray oxide scale; pickled/finished coils are flatter and cleaner
Cost-effective: 30–40% lower cost than cold rolled steel
Flexible processing: Can be cut to length, slitted, stamped, welded, bent

Black coil (mill edge): With mill scale, slight waviness or rough edges, lower cost
Pickled coil: Oxide scale removed, clean gray surface, good for coating or forming
Skin-passed coil: Pickled + skin-passed, flat shape and higher precision
