The dual-shaft shredder (also known as a shear-type shredder) is a highly efficient crushing device that utilizes the counter-rotation of two shafts to shear, tear, and compress materials. Its core advantages include low rotational speed, high torque, a wide processing range, and stable operation; it is specifically designed to address the challenging task of shredding large, hard, or highly resilient waste materials.
Material enters the V-shaped crushing chamber via the hopper.
Two cutter shafts rotate in opposite directions at a low speed (typically 10–50 rpm).
The staggered blades exert a triple action—shearing, tearing, and squeezing—upon the material.
The material is shredded to the required particle size and discharged through the bottom screen (or discharge port).
**Extensive Processing Range:** Capable of shredding virtually all common types of solid waste—including metals, plastics, rubber, wood, general refuse, bulky furniture, and electronic waste.
**Powerful Shredding Force:** Features a high-torque design that effortlessly shreds difficult-to-process materials, such as thick steel plates, tires, and large plastic blocks.
**Stable Operation:** Utilizes a dual-shaft load-balancing system to ensure stable performance characterized by low speed, low noise, and minimal dust generation; highly resistant to shaft entanglement and jamming.
**Controllable Output:** Output particle size can be precisely controlled within a range of 30–200 mm by simply swapping the blades or screens.
**Durable and Easy to Maintain:** Blades can be resharpened, flipped for extended use, or easily replaced; the bearing housing features a quick-release design to facilitate convenient maintenance.
