epoxy powder coating
The purpose of formulating this powder coating is to achieve a high gloss smooth coating with excellent adhesion, bending and chemical resistance. The main disadvantage is that it is easy to yellow at high temperatures or after exposure to sunlight. In addition, this coating will quickly pulverize when exposed to outdoor exposure. However, the integrity of the film under outdoor exposure is very good. The curing of epoxy powder coatings is additive curing and does not release volatiles during drying.

What's our powder coating service?
Surface Preparation Area: This is where metal items are cleaned and prepped to ensure proper adhesion of the powder coating. Processes might include sandblasting, chemical cleaning, and rinsing to remove rust, grease, and other contaminants.
Application Booth: In this controlled environment, the powder coating is applied to the metal surfaces. This area is equipped with electrostatic spray guns that charge the powder particles, making them adhere to the grounded metal parts. The booth is usually designed with ventilation systems to manage airborne powder and ensure a clean working environment.
Curing Oven: After application, the coated items are moved to a curing oven where the powder is baked at high temperatures. This process melts and fuses the powder into a smooth, durable finish. The oven is typically a large, temperature-controlled chamber that ensures even heating and consistent curing.
Cooling Area: Once the curing process is complete, the items are moved to a cooling area where they are allowed to cool down to room temperature. This cooling phase is crucial for solidifying the coating and preventing any warping or damage.
Quality Control: In this section, finished products are inspected for any defects or inconsistencies in the coating. This might include visual inspections, thickness measurements, and adhesion tests to ensure that the coating meets the required standards.
Storage and Handling: Finished products are carefully handled and stored to avoid damage before they are shipped out. This area may include racking systems or storage bins designed to protect the coated items.
Recycling and Waste Management: Powder coating plants often have systems in place for recycling excess powder and managing waste materials. This helps minimize environmental impact and reduce operational costs.
