cold rolled mild carbon steel coil has superb sheet shape and surface quality with good flatness and surface finish. The surface of the cold sheet is clean and bright and easy for coating. Cold rolled steel coil is made from hot-rolled steel coil as raw material, which is subjected to acid washing to remove oxide skin and then subjected to cold continuous rolling. The finished product is rolled hard coil. Due to the cold work hardening caused by continuous cold deformation, the strength and hardness of the rolled hard coil increase, and the toughness and plasticity index decrease. Deep processing requires annealing treatment. Due to the lack of heating during the production process of cold rolled steel coils, there are no defects such as pits and oxide scales that often occur during hot rolling. The surface quality is good and the smoothness is high. Moreover, the dimensional accuracy of cold rolled mild carbon steel coils is high, and the performance and structure of the products can meet some special usage requirements, such as electromagnetic performance, deep drawing performance, etc.
cold rolled mild carbon steel coils generally use hot-rolled strip steel with a thickness of 1.5-6 mm as the cold rolled billet. The main processes include pickling, cold rolling, degreasing, annealing, leveling, and shearing (cross cutting, longitudinal cutting). If producing coated plates, there are also plating or coating processes such as electroplating tin, hot tin coating, and hot zinc coating. The production process of cold rolled billets is as follows: hot rolled sheet coils (raw materials) - acid washing - cold rolling - degreasing - annealing - leveling - shearing - finished product.
