Inner ring metal spiral wound gasket is a high-performance gasket widely used in industrial sealing. Its structure is usually composed of a metal inner ring, a metal spiral wound tape (such as stainless steel, titanium alloy, etc.) and a non-metallic filling material (such as graphite, asbestos, PTFE, etc.). 1,Main Applications
  *  High temperature and high pressure sealing:
Applicable to flange connection of pipelines, valves, reactors and other equipment in the fields of petrochemical, electric power, nuclear power, etc., especially suitable for extreme working conditions with temperature between -200ºC and +1000ºC and pressure up to 25MPa or above.
*   Complex media environment:
Used to seal corrosive media (such as acid, alkali, oil and gas), toxic gas or liquid, and pipeline systems of high purity fluids, such as hydrogenation units in refineries, reactors in chemical plants, etc.
*  Leakage prevention of key equipment:
In nuclear power equipment, aerospace or high-pressure steam systems, as a key sealing element, to prevent safety hazards caused by leakage.

* Sealing reliability
   The leakage rate meets international standards (such as ASME B16.20, EN 1514), and can still maintain low leakage under            high pressure.Adapt to the surface roughness of the flange (Ra≤3.2μm), reducing the dependence on the processing                      accuracy of the flange.
 * Material adaptability
    Metal belts can be made of Inconel, Monel and other alloys, and the filling layer can be made of ceramic fiber, mica, etc., which      are suitable for sulfidation, oxidation or strong corrosion environments.
 * Long life and convenient maintenance
    Strong fatigue resistance, the life can reach several years under frequent start-stop or temperature alternating conditions. It is         not easy to stick to the flange surface during replacement, reducing maintenance costs.
3. Selection considerations
*Working condition matching: Select metal and filling materials according to the corrosiveness of the medium, temperature and pressure peaks.
*Flange type: Suitable for flange types such as concave and convex surface (MFM) and tongue and groove surface (TG). The inner ring size must match the inner diameter of the flange.
*Standard certification: Must comply with industry standards such and DIN EN 12560 to ensure safety and compliance.
4. Comparison with other gaskets:
Compared with ordinary asbestos gaskets or rubber gaskets, the inner ring metal wound gasket has better creep resistance and rebound performance; compared with pure metal gaskets (such as toothed gaskets), it has lower requirements for flange flatness and softer sealing.
