Employing a mechanical disc spring design adjustable according to drilling parameters, these tools absorb axial impact energy generated by the drill bit during operation, thereby mitigating axial impact loads and reducing fatigue in the drill string  to mitigate drill string fatigue. Employing a mechanical disc spring design adjustable based on drilling parameters, the tool absorbs axial impact energy generated during bit operation, converting harmful shock energy into elastic energy stored within the disc springs.
