The features of the cartridge valve are:
1. Simple structure, large flow capacity, suitable for various high-pressure and large-flow systems;
2. By changing different pilot control valves and covers, the functions of different valves can be easily realized, while the structure of the cartridge main valve remains unchanged, which is convenient for standardization;
3. Valves with different functions can be inserted into an integrated valve body. The channels between valves are connected through the oil holes inside the valve body, realizing a tubeless connection, reducing leakage, occupying less space, and facilitating integration;
4. The pilot control valve has low power and obvious energy-saving effect.
Vickers cartridge valves are widely used in the field of fluid control functions. The applied components include electromagnetic directional valves, check valves, relief valves, pressure reducing valves, flow control valves, and sequence valves. They are commonly used in the design of fluid power circuits and the extension of mechanical applications, fully demonstrating the importance of cartridge valves to system designers and users. Due to the universality of the assembly process, the universality of valve hole specifications, and the interchangeability features, using cartridge valves can completely achieve a perfect design configuration, and also makes cartridge valves widely used in various hydraulic machinery.
Taking the wheel loader as an example, use the cartridge valve manifold block to replace the power transmission control device that has continuous faults and is difficult to diagnose and repair. The original control system had 60 connecting pipe fittings and 19 independent components. The overall control manifold block used for replacement only has 11 pipe fittings and 17 components. Its volume is 12 x 4 x 5 cubic inches, which is 20% of the space occupied by the original system. The advantages of using cartridge valves are as follows:
