* **Three-Module Redundant Voting Control:** Built-in three completely independent monitoring modules employ a 2-out-of-3 voting logic. Failure of any module does not affect the overall protection function. Faulty modules can be diagnosed and replaced online, meeting high safety redundancy standards.
* **Tiered Protection and Safe Shutdown:** Supports multi-level threshold settings (early warning, alarm, emergency shutdown). In case of an anomaly, it drives the turbine trip valve/trip system to execute a safe shutdown, while simultaneously outputting a dry contact alarm signal to the central control system, achieving local and remote linkage protection.
* **Self-Diagnosis and Status Monitoring:** Built-in comprehensive self-diagnostic function monitors module status, sensor signals, power supply, and relay outputs in real time. In case of a fault, the status is locked and the event is recorded. Diagnostic information can be queried via local panel and remote tools.
** Flexible Configuration and Compatibility
Supports field-programmable speed range, protection threshold, and output logic; compatible with various MPU speed sensors; can be deployed independently or work in conjunction with Woodward 505XT and easYgen series main controllers, operating independently without relying on a main control system.
Working Principle
The device acquires speed signals through three independent MPU inputs. Three modules respectively perform signal processing, speed calculation, and threshold judgment. After a 2-out-of-3 logic vote, a shutdown command is output. Simultaneously, it continuously self-checks the module and channel status; in case of a fault, it triggers a fault alarm and maintains a safe output state, ensuring the protection function never fails.
