I. Detailed Introduction

(2) Mercury-free BOD Test
BOD is one of the important indicators for evaluating the quality of water resources and reflects the amount of biodegradable substances in water and wastewater. The OxiTop® system provided by WTW Company is a brand-new mercury-free measurement system, which can not only be used for BOD detection but also measure biodegradation and consumption capacity. The advantages of OxiTop and OxiTop Control are simple operation, easy control, non-toxicity, and a high measurement range up to 400,000 mg/l BOD (using OxiTop® Control OC 110). Due to the automatic conversion of the measured pressure, the reading is directly in mg/l BOD.
