The high-performance cellular glass CH500 launched by Shanghai Chenghe Construction Engineering is a high-quality inorganic thermal insulation material that strictly complies with the ASTM C552 standard. With its excellent comprehensive performance, it is widely suitable for thermal insulation and cold preservation needs in various fields. Taking recycled glass as the core raw material, the product is refined through advanced processes. It has an average density of only 115 kg/m³, combining light weight and reliable strength. The average compressive strength reaches 0.50 MPa, the minimum individual test value is 0.41 MPa, and the flexural strength is not less than 0.283 MPa. Its solid and durable structure can meet the requirements of regular working conditions. It exhibits outstanding thermal conductivity—with an average value of only 0.040 W/(m·K) and a maximum individual test value of 0.043 W/(m·K) at 10℃. Coupled with an extremely low volume water absorption rate of ≤0.5 Vol% and a water vapor permeability coefficient of ≤0.007 ng/(Pa·m·s), it can efficiently block heat transfer and water vapor penetration, delivering long-lasting and stable thermal insulation and moisture-proof effects. Meanwhile, the product has a stable linear thermal expansion coefficient of 9×10⁶ K⁻¹ and a service temperature range of -268℃ to 480℃, which can not only meet ultra-low temperature cold preservation scenarios but also adapt to high-temperature thermal insulation working conditions, featuring strong adaptability.

In terms of application scenarios, CH500 is mainly used for thermal insulation projects of pipelines, equipment, vessels, and storage tanks. It can also meet the thermal insulation requirements of refrigerated vessels, circulation systems, and dual-temperature systems. The product is easy to construct—can be cut and processed with a panel saw to fit installation needs of different sizes, and simply fixed with steel straps during installation. It should be noted that the product is fragile; no heavy objects are allowed to be placed on top of it, and the vertical stacking height shall not exceed 6 layers. Careful handling is required during transportation and moving to avoid rolling and collision. Packaged in cartons, it supports customized needs. It should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated environment, away from direct sunlight and rain. As an environmentally friendly material, CH500 does not release toxic or harmful substances and can be recycled and reused after disposal. It is an ideal thermal insulation material that balances performance, safety, and environmental protection, providing reliable guarantee for various thermal insulation projects.
