Overview
This pressure transmitter selects high-precision pressure sensor components from international companies. Working Principle
When the pressure signal acts on the sensor, the pressure sensor converts the pressure signal into an electrical signal. After differential amplification and output amplifier amplification, finally, through V/A voltage - to - current conversion, a 4 - 20mA standard current output signal linearly corresponding to the liquid level pressure of the measured medium (liquid) is obtained.

Installation and use
Before installing and using the pressure transmitter, you should read the product sample and instruction manual in detail. During installation, the pressure interface must not leak. Ensure that the range and wiring are correct. The shells of pressure sensors and transmitters generally need to be grounded. Signal cables should not be laid together with power cables. Strong electromagnetic interference should be avoided around sensors and transmitters. Sensors and transmitters should be periodically calibrated according to industry regulations during use.
On - site fault inspection: Most of the faults occurring at the construction site are caused by improper use and installation methods of pressure sensors. They can be summarized in the following aspects. 1. Primary elements (such as orifice plates and remote - transmission measuring joints) are blocked or installed in the wrong form, and the pressure - taking points are unreasonable. 2. The impulse tube leaks or is blocked. There are residual gases in the liquid - filled tube or residual liquids in the gas - filled tube. There are deposits in the process flange of the transmitter, forming a measurement dead zone. 3. The transmitter is wired incorrectly. The power supply voltage is too high or too low. The connection between the indicating meter head and the instrument wiring terminal is poor. 4. It is not installed strictly in accordance with the technical requirements. The installation method and on - site environment do not meet the technical requirements.
The above - mentioned faults of pressure sensors and transmitters will cause abnormal output or inaccurate measurement of the transmitter. However, through careful inspection, strict compliance with technical requirements for use and installation, and timely adoption of effective measures, all problems can be solved. For faults that cannot be handled, the transmitter should be sent to the laboratory or the manufacturer for further inspection.
Installation of additional devices
(1) In order to ensure that the instrument is not affected by the erosion of the measured medium, or by high viscosity or crystallization, an isolation device should be installed;
(2) To ensure that the instrument is not affected by the sudden change or pulsating pressure of the measured medium, install a buffer. Especially when the pressure suddenly increases or drops sharply, it is most likely to damage and render the pressure instrument useless, and even cause the spring tube to burst and result in leakage.
(3) To ensure that the instrument is not affected by vibration, shock-absorbing devices and fixing devices should be installed on the pressure instrument.
(4) To ensure that the instrument is not affected by the high temperature of the measured medium, a bent tube device filled with liquid should be installed.
(5) Special-purpose instruments are strictly prohibited from being used for other purposes. It is also strictly prohibited to conduct measurements without special and reliable devices. Moreover, it is strictly prohibited to use general pressure gauges to measure the pressure of special media.
(6) For newly purchased pressure detection instruments, metrological verification must be carried out before installation and use to prevent the accuracy from being damaged due to vibration, damage or other factors during transportation.
Daily maintenance
1. Check the size of the installation hole.
2. Keep the installation hole clean.
3. Select an appropriate location.
4. Clean carefully.
5. Keep dry.
6. Avoid low-temperature interference.
7. Prevent pressure overload
8. The pressure transmitter needs to be checked once a week and inspected once a month. The main tasks are to remove the dust inside the instrument, carefully check the electrical components, and frequently calibrate the output current value. Since the inside of the pressure transmitter is a low-voltage circuit, it must be isolated from the external high-voltage circuit.
Solutions to errors
1) Make the impulse tube as short as possible.
2) When measuring liquids or steam, connect the impulse tube to the process pipeline in an upward flow direction, and its slope should be no less than 1/12.
3) When measuring gases, connect the impulse tube to the process pipeline in a downward direction, and its slope should be no less than 1/12.
4) When laying the liquid impulse pipeline, avoid high points in the middle. When laying the gas impulse tube, avoid low points in the middle.
5) Keep the same temperature between the two impulse tubes.
6) To avoid the influence of friction, the diameter of the impulse tube should be large enough.
7) There should be no gas in the impulse tube filled with liquid.
8) When using isolation liquid, the liquid in the two impulse tubes should be the same.
9) When using a cleaning agent, the connection of the cleaning agent should be close to the pressure tapping point of the process pipeline. The length and diameter of the pipeline through which the cleaning agent passes should be the same, and the cleaning agent should be prevented from passing through the transmitter.
