The SUPRESTA series fire-resistant hydraulic oils are phosphate ester-based products manufactured by SUPRESTA L.L.C. (USA). Exclusively engineered for supercritical units, these oils boast high flame retardancy (with an ignition temperature of 545℃), low toxicity and excellent biodegradability. Meanwhile, they deliver outstanding corrosion resistance and oxidation stability, effectively preventing the decomposition of phosphate esters caused by water contamination. They are suitable for the turbine control systems of leading brands including GE, Siemens, Dongfang Electric, Shanghai Electric and Harbin Turbine Works.
For years, SUPRESTA L.L.C.’s fire-resistant hydraulic oils have been marketed worldwide as premium-quality products. In 2023, to adapt to business restructuring needs, the company decided to discontinue its traditional distributor system and switch to a direct sales model combined with authorized distribution. This strategic adjustment aims to reduce the operational costs for end users. SUPRESTA Chemical Co., Ltd. is a direct-operated subsidiary established by the parent company to serve the Chinese market.
In August 2023, SUPRESTA L.L.C. (USA) officially launched its new trademark SUPRESTA, phasing out the old brand identity. Concurrently, it rolled out new product variants such as SUPRESTA EHC PLUS and SUPRESTA EHC-S. These new offerings are ideal alternatives to AKZO’s fire-resistant hydraulic oils, including models like AKZO EHC. They are applicable to hydraulic systems requiring fire-resistant properties—especially high fire-risk systems such as the EH electro-hydraulic control systems of steam turbines—effectively mitigating hazards arising from oil leakage, pipeline rupture or other potential accidents..
