  1. Brief introduction 

    During operation, a high-frequency alternating strong magnetic field is generated on the surface of the sorting magnetic roller. When conductive non-ferrous metals pass through the magnetic field, eddy currents are induced within the non-ferrous metals. These eddy currents themselves generate a magnetic field in the opposite direction to the original magnetic field. The non-ferrous metals (such as copper and aluminum) are then propelled forward along their conveying direction due to the repulsive force of the magnetic field, achieving separation from other non-metallic materials and thus achieving the purpose of sorting. The main distinguishing criterion is the ratio of the material's conductivity to its density; materials with a higher ratio are easier to separate than those with a lower ratio.
