is a martensitic, precipitation-hardening, chromium-nickel-copper stainless steel with good surface smoothness and dimensional stability. It has good processability, excellent mechanical properties, and resistance to general corrosive environments. This steel grade has good strength, and its toughness, ductility in the transverse direction, hardness, and corrosion resistance are comparable to those of 304 stainless steel. Various properties can be obtained through solution treatment or heat treatment conditions.
