Product Overview
A Vertical Crusher is a type of size reduction equipment widely used in organic fertilizer production lines, bio-waste processing, and material grinding operations. It features a vertically oriented rotor shaft and high-speed rotating blades/hammers that crush materials through impact, shear, and collision within a closed grinding chamber. The standard production process involves the following stages and corresponding machinery:
1. Raw Material Pre-treatment:
Crusher: Pulverizes large lumps of raw compost or materials to ensure uniformity.
Mixer/Blender: Homogenizes different types of organic wastes and adjusts carbon-nitrogen (C/N) ratio and moisture content.
2. Aerobic Fermentation (Core Process):
Compost Turner (Windrow Turner): For flipping and aerating compost windrows, promoting oxygen supply, temperature control, and uniform decomposition. Types include crawler, wheeled, and self-propelled turners.
Fermentation Tank/Reactor (for in-vessel systems): Provides a controlled environment for faster, odor-managed composting.
Aeration System: Pumps air into the fermentation pile to maintain aerobic conditions.
3. Post-Fermentation Processing:
Crushing/Milling: A high-efficiency crusher or grinding mill further pulverizes the fermented compost into a fine powder.
Screening: A rotary screener or vibrating screen separates oversized particles for re-crushing, ensuring consistent powder fineness.
Mixing & Blending: A powder mixer blends the screened powder with beneficial additives (e.g., microbial inoculants, micronutrients) to formulate customized products.
4. Packaging & Storage:
Automatic Packaging Scale: Weighs and fills the powder fertilizer into bags (e.g., woven bags, kraft bags).
Sewing Machine or Bag Sealer: Seals the packaged bags.
Storage System: Includes conveyors (belt or screw type) and storage silos or warehouses.
