Performance characteristics of PC:

The water absorption rate of PC plastic raw materials is relatively high, so it must be preheated and dried before processing. Pure PC is dried at 120 ℃, while modified PC is generally dried at 110 ℃ for more than 4 hours. The drying time cannot exceed 10 hours. Generally, the air extrusion method can be used to determine whether the drying is sufficient. The proportion of recycled materials can reach 20%. In some cases, 100% recycled materials can be used, and the actual amount depends on the quality requirements of the product. Recycled materials cannot be mixed with different color masterbatch at the same time, otherwise it will seriously damage the properties of the finished product.
Food grade PC is favored by producers and buyers of food storage inventory due to its clarity and toughness. When compared to silica glass, polycarbonate fiber is as lightweight and highly resistant to breakage. Polycarbonate fibers are commonly used in disposable plastic water bottles and reusable plastic water bottles. PC bottles (containers) are transparent, lightweight, and have good impact resistance. They can withstand certain high temperatures and corrosive solution washing, and are used as recyclable bottles (containers) dishes.
