It can resist acid, alkali, most inorganic salt solutions, halogenated hydrocarbons, hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and other corrosion, but is easily soluble in polar solvents such as phenol and formic acid. It has excellent wear resistance, self-lubricating properties, and high mechanical strength. But it has high water absorption, so its dimensional stability is poor.
