Fire protection plastic-coated steel pipe is a composite pipe made of steel pipe as the base pipe, coated with anti-corrosion materials on the inner and outer walls through spraying or dipping process, which has both the high strength of steel pipe and the corrosion resistance of plastic.
The following are its main features and uses: Structure and Process Fire protection plastic-coated steel pipe is based on straight-seam steel pipe, seamless steel pipe or galvanized pipe, and is coated through sandblasting, preheating, electrostatic spraying and 280°C curing process. The exterior walls are coated with thermosetting powders such as epoxy resin (EP) or polyethylene (PE), and the interior walls are coated with food-grade epoxy resin or polyethylene, typically with a coating thickness of 100-500 microns.
Performance characteristics Strong corrosion resistance: The coating can resist chemical corrosion, cathodic stripping and marine biological corrosion, and is suitable for harsh environments such as deserts and saline-alkali Hygienic and non-toxic: The inner wall coating meets food-grade standards to ensure fluid quality, no scaling, no microorganisms.
Long service life: The design life is up to 50 years, the compressive performance is up to 0.5-6.0MPa, and the long-term use temperature range is 0-110°C Easy installation: It supports a variety of connection methods such as wire buttons, grooves, and bi-metal welding, and is compatible with ordinary steel pipe connection methods.
The application field is mainly used in fire water supply system, municipal water supply and drainage, chemical liquid transportation and power engineering. Its caliber covers DN15 to DN1500, and the red pipe body has a flange or groove connection device on the surface.
