Product Overview
Water-resistant interior wall skim coat is a professional material for damp indoor areas like kitchens and bathrooms, made from special water-resistant binders, calcium carbonate, and functional additives. It resists moisture penetration to prevent mold or peeling, maintains durability in humid environments, and supports bulk application for large spaces. With strong adhesion to various substrates, it combines practicality and longevity, helping damp-area projects save maintenance costs.
Advantages

Application
1. Leveling the walls in dry areas such as living rooms, bedrooms and studies in residential buildings.
2. Water-resistant wall leveling in damp areas such as kitchens and bathrooms (using water-resistant putty powder).
3. Interior wall decoration base for public buildings such as offices, schools and shopping malls.
4. Renovation and new construction leveling of various interior walls such as concrete, cement mortar, gypsum board, and brick walls.
Drying time: Surface dry for 4-6 hours. After 24 hours, subsequent construction such as sanding and painting can be carried out (under conditions of 25℃ temperature and 50% relative humidity).

Construction steps
1. Base treatment: Ensure that the wall surface is solid, clean, free of oil stains, loose dust, and loose substances. If the base layer is too dry, water can be sprayed appropriately to moisten it (as long as there is no standing water).
2. Stir the putty powder: Add clean water to the putty powder in the water-cement ratio, and stir it with a mixer until it becomes a uniform paste without lumps. Let it stand for 3 to 5 minutes and then stir again before use.
3. Applying putty: Use a trowel or scraper to evenly apply the putty on the base layer. Generally, it is applied in 2-3 coats, with each coat thickness controlled at 0.5-1mm. The next coat should be applied only after the previous one is completely dry.
4. Sanding and finishing: After the last coat of putty dries (about 24 hours), gently sand the surface with sandpaper to make the wall smooth and flat. After removing the floating dust, you can proceed with the application of paint (latex paint, art paint, etc.) or wallpaper.
5. Subsequent decoration: According to the design requirements, apply primer, topcoat or lay wallpaper, etc.

The product is in the form of dry powder, which can be mixed with water to form paste.
Specifications: 20kg per barrel. Under conditions of 25℃ temperature and 50% humidity, the product achieves surface drying in ≤4 hours and solidification in ≤24 hours. It demonstrates scrub resistance ≥3000 washes, withstanding 24-hour alkali immersion and 96-hour water immersion without abnormalities. Solid content ≥70%, VOC content ≤80g/L, and free formaldehyde ≤0.08g/kg. Application temperature 5℃-35℃, shelf life 12 months, requires cool and dry storage.
