V-Type Ball Valve With DN25-600mm Size Range and Flanged Connection for Industrial Automation Systems
The V-shaped ball valve is a high-end quarter-turn control valve primarily used as a regulating valve, but can also be used as an on-off valve. The V-shaped valve core is designed with a specially shaped V-notch, resulting in strong shear force and self-cleaning properties. It is particularly suitable for controlling media containing fibers or fine solid particles. It is widely used in automatic control systems in industries such as papermaking, chemical, petroleum, chemical fiber, electric power, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, and environmental protection.

Features:
1. Integrated Valve Body: The V-type valve adopts a one-piece design, eliminating leakage caused by flange connections. 2. Movable Seat: The V-type valve's seal seat utilizes a preloaded spring to maintain a tight seal against the valve core, ensuring excellent sealing performance. It automatically compensates for seal seat wear during long-term use, ensuring a long service life. PTFE (soft) and movable metal seats are also available for different media and temperatures.
3. Valve Core and Automatic Sliding Bearing: The V-type ball valve core features a specially shaped V-notch, resulting in a near-equal-percentage flow characteristic. This design provides precise control while also offering high shear force and self-cleaning capabilities. 4. Spline Connection: The valve stem and valve core utilize a splined connection, offering excellent centering, high torque capacity, and long service life. The spline connection effectively eliminates clearance between the stem and valve core, eliminating dead zone and improving valve adjustment accuracy.
Pneumatic V-Type Ball Valve
Working Principle of Pneumatic V-Type Ball Valve
Pneumatic V-Type ball valves require only a 90-degree pneumatic rotation and minimal torque to achieve tight closing. The perfectly flat inner cavity of the valve body provides a direct, low-resistance flow path for the medium. Ball valves are generally considered most suitable for direct opening and closing, but recent developments have enabled ball valves to be designed for throttling and flow control (the same applies to electric valves). Ball valves are characterized by their compact structure, ease of operation, and maintenance. They are suitable for general working media such as water, solvents, acids, and natural gas, as well as for media with harsh working conditions such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane, and ethylene. Ball valve bodies can be either one-piece or modular.
Pneumatic V-Type Ball Valve Application
The working principle of a pneumatic V-Type ball valve is to open or close the valve by rotating the valve ring. Pneumatic ball valves are easy to open and close, compact, and can be manufactured in large diameters. They offer reliable sealing, simple structure, and easy maintenance. The sealing surface and ball surface are always in a closed position, making them less susceptible to erosion by the medium. They are widely used in various industries. Pneumatic V-shaped ball valves and plug valves are similar valves, except that their closing element is a sphere that rotates around the centerline of the valve body to open and close.
Pneumatic V-shaped ball valves are primarily used in pipelines for rapid shutoff, distribution, and flow direction change (the same applies to electric valves). Pneumatic ball valves are a new type of valve that has been widely adopted in recent years.
They offer the following advantages:
1. Low fluid resistance, with a resistance coefficient equal to that of a pipe section of the same length.
2. Simple structure, compact size, and light weight.
3. Tight and reliable. Currently, plastic is widely used as the sealing surface material for ball valves, providing excellent sealing properties. They are also widely used in vacuum systems.
4. Easy to operate and quick to open and close. A simple 90° rotation from fully open to fully closed facilitates remote control.
5. Easy maintenance. Pneumatic ball valves have a simple structure, and the sealing ring is generally removable, making them easy to disassemble and replace.
6. When fully open or fully closed, the sealing surfaces between the ball and seat are isolated from the media, preventing erosion of the valve sealing surfaces when the media passes through.
7. Wide range of applications, with diameters ranging from a few millimeters to several meters, and suitable for applications from high vacuum to high pressure.
Stainless steel pneumatic ball valves are widely used in various sectors, including the petroleum, chemical, power generation, papermaking, atomic energy, aviation, rocketry, and daily life.
V-Type Ball Valve Features: The ball core features a V-notched ball face plate with rotating shafts at the top and bottom ends. It features a robust structure, wear-resistant inner material, a straight-through flow path, and an energizer ring on the valve seat for adjustable sealing force. When closed, the V-notch creates a wedge-shaped shear force between the valve seat and the valve, making it widely used in slurry, mud, granular, and fibrous environments. Proportional adjustment is achieved when used with a valve positioner, and a control box equipped with the valve provides quick shutoff.
