MOOG G123-825-001 Buffer amplifier Servo amplifier
The MOOG G123-825-001 buffer amplifier is a device for connecting a standard signal source, such as a PLC or a service amplifier, to a Moog proportional valve. It has the following characteristics:
Three types of signal inputs are accepted, including the standard PLC analog output signal of 10V, the input of 4-20mA, and the signal of the Moog valve.
It has a unipolar active filter, which can remove noise from the input signal.
The filter time constant is switch-optional and has multiple time constants to choose from.
The output signal can be switched, including 4 to 20mA fixed, 0 to ±10V fixed, and 0 to ±5 to ±100mA switch.
When set to ±10mA, suitable for efb valves, the output current selector switch can have multiple choices, such as selecting 30mA and 50mA simultaneously to give a full scale output of ±80mA.
The unit is housed in a compact DIN rail housing and requires a 24 volt DC power supply.
Front panel test points and valve-driven leds facilitate debugging and troubleshooting.
