Features: 48 Digital I/ OS 2 32-bit counters Digital trigger The National Instruments PCI-6224 is a low-cost, versatile M-Series Data acquisition (DAQ) board optimized for cost-sensitive applications. To connect M-Series devices to the SCXI chassis, use the SCXI-1349 adapter and SHC68-68-EPM cable. The SCXI is controlled using connector 0 of the M-series device. NI-DAQ 7.4 and later supports SCXI in parallel mode on connector 1. The NI PCI-6224 is notable for its 48 x 5 V logical digital input/output lines and robust configuration. These digital lines include 16 PFI lines. Each PFI input has a programmable dejitter filter that the user can enable or disable. To ensure easy access to its channels, the PCI-6224 integrates two 68-pin VHDCI type female connectors. In addition, all DIO signals of PCI-6224 National Instruments operate under integrated protection against undervoltage, overcurrent, undervoltage conditions, and ESD events. In the default configuration, the hardware sets all DIO and PFI channels to high-impedance inputs. However, the user can also set the programmable power-on state with NI-DAQmx to achieve the desired value at power-on. With this model, users will be able to implement synchronization in a variety of ways depending on the application, as the model comes with the RTSI bus and various routing capabilities. For full plug and play operation, the NI PCI-6224 features a jumper-free design and allows the operating system to automatically assign a base address
