IS200TBAIH1C Simulates the input terminal board /I/O processor 146031-01
The IS200TBAIH1C is an analog input terminal board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VI family used in gas turbine control systems. The analog input terminal board supports 2 outputs and 10 analog inputs. Two-wire, three-wire, four-wire, or externally powered transmitters can be plugged into one of ten analog inputs. The current of the analog output can be configured as 0-20 mA or 0-200 mA. Surge and high-frequency noise are protected by noise suppression circuits in the input and output.
To connect to the I/O processor, TBAI has three available DC-37 pin connectors. TMR can be used to connect simplex on all three connectors or one connector (JR1). It can be connected directly to an electronic device or with a cable. For the three connectors used for R, S, and T controllers in TMR applications, the input signals fan out. Using the measuring shunt on the TBAI, the total current of the three connected output drivers is combined to run the TMR output. After that, TBAI provides a total current signal to electronic devices so that they can adjust it to a specified set point.
IS200TBAIH1C Installation
The two I/O terminals located on the terminal board are directly connected to the 10 inputs and two outputs. Each module is secured with two screws and contains 24 terminals that can hold wires up to #12 AWG. There is a shielded terminal connection point next to each terminal. The following categories of analog inputs and outputs can be supported:
Two-wire transmitter with analog input
Three-wire transmitter with analog input
Four-wire transmitter with analog input
Transmitter with analog input and external power supply
Analog input, 5 volts and 10 volts DC
0-20 mA analog output
0-200 mA analog output
Controls
All sensors have access to the 24 V DC power supply on the terminal board. By using a jumper, you can choose between current and voltage inputs. One of the two analog output circuits can be configured to 4-20 mA or 0-200 mA via a jumper, while the other can be adjusted to either. TMR applications can use the same terminal board.
The transmitter/transmitter can be powered individually or by a 24 V DC power supply in the control system. Jumpers J#A, J#B, and JO on the terminal board are configured with input and output types of voltage and current, respectively. The diagnostic function tracks each output, and if the CPU command fails to fix the defect, the suicide relay in the I/O controller disconnects the relevant output.
