Product Type: HART® Multiplexer.
Number of channels: 32 channels, supporting versions 5 through 7 of the HART protocol.
Interfaces: Each channel has two interfaces connected to the field loop, for a total of 64 connections.
Host system interface: RS485 dual-wire multi-drop interface, can connect up to 31 MTL4851 modules to a host.
RS485 baud rate: 38400, 19200, 9600, 1200 baud rate, can be automatically detected.
Address selection: 8-bit interface, supports up to 64 addresses.
Channel isolation: 50V DC.
Supply voltage: 19V to 35V DC.

The MTL4851 system is based on a 16-channel modular design that can be easily scaled up to 7,936 HART devices on a single network using a standard RS485 serial link. The system IS suitable for general-purpose and intrinsically safe applications and can be mounted on a HART connection unit or an IS backplane, depending on the application requirements
