1797-PS2N2 FLEX Ex Power Supply
The 1797-PS2N2 is an Allen-Bradley Flex Ex Power supply module. This module is a quad-Ex dc out power supply, within an
explosion-proof enclosure, installed with a One (1) inch. Pipe-thread input and output terminators.
This module has Four (4) output power channels with each output capable of providing 8.5 Watts of power. It also has dual power
feeds for source input redundancy. The outputs of this power supply module galvanically isolated from the source and channels are
independently IS limited.
The 1797-PS2N2 has is rated for installation in application areas that are Class I Division 1 Groups A, B, C, D Class II Division
1 Groups E, F, G Class III (only UL/cUL) Class I Division 1 Groups B-D T4 (only FM). It has IS output type of Class I Division 1
Groups A, B, C, D Class II Division 1 Groups E, F, G Class III (only UL/cUL) Class I Division 1 Groups B-D T4 Class I Zone 1
AEx[ib] IIC (only FM).
The 1797-PS2N2 has an output voltage range of 19-32VDC with current consumption of 3.1A and ripple of 5% AC. This module has power
dissipation of 21W and thermal dissipation of 71.67 BTU/hr. When making wired connection to the power supply module, recommended
wire size is 4 mm sq. (12 gauge) stranded or solid wire with insulation rating of 100 °C (212 °F) or higher and insulation
thickness not more than 1.2 mm (3/64 in.) This module has a protection class of IP 66/NEMA 7B. This module weighs 7.3 kg (16 lb).
