About tantalum. Melting point :2996℃ Density: 16.6g /cm3 Product scope: pure tantalum and tantalum tungsten alloy Tantalum is dark, dense, malleable, very hard, easy to manufacture, and has high thermal and electrical conductivity. Its melting point is second only to tungsten and rhenium. As a high melting point metal, tantalum has low vapor pressure and good electrical and thermal conductivity up to very high temperatures. The advantages of Ta are excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature strength, good machinability and good biocompatibility. Characteristics: Tantalum is a non-ferrous rare metal with high melting point and boiling point. It is malleable and corrosion-resistant R05200, non-alloying tantalum, electron beam furnace or vacuum arc melt, or both; R05400, non-alloy tantalum, powder metallurgy consolidation; R05255, tantalum alloy, 90% tantalum and 10% tungsten, electron beam furnace or vacuum arc smelting, or both; R05252, tantalum alloy, 97.5% tantalum 2.5% tungsten, electron beam furnace or vacuum arc melt, or both,
