I. Overview
The TLX50C torque limiter (hereinafter referred to as the force limiter) and control system are suitable for truck cranes.
The TLX50C force limiter provides rich and effective operation information for crane operators, so that the crane can be effectively used within its design parameters. A variety of signal sensors cooperate with instruments, and the force limiter can provide the operator with real-time information such as arm length, angle, working range, rated weight and actual weight.
When the operation of the crane exceeds the allowable safety range, the force limiter will issue an alarm to remind the operator to stop the illegal operation, and at the same time send a control signal to automatically lock the movement in the dangerous direction.
The system consists of a display host, a length sensor, an angle sensor, a hydraulic sensor, a height limit switch, etc.
II. Main functions
Display - Intuitively display crane operating parameters such as actual lifting weight, rated lifting weight, arm length, angle, working conditions, magnification, etc.
Pre-call and alarm
When the crane occurs in any of the following situations, the TLX50C torque system makes an alarm sound.
- Crane torque overload
- The lifting of the crane exceeds the limit
- Force limiter system failure
Control
With the crane electrical system, when the system issues an alarm, any of the following dangerous directions is prohibited:
- The arm changes downward.
- The arm is out.
- Lifting of the sling
At this time, the system only allows operations in the safe direction, that is:
- The boom is variable upward.
- Boom retraction
- The sling falls
