GENERALINFORMATION Each crane is under a load chart that, in short, specifies the crane’s capabilities — detailing its features and how its lift capacity varies when considering distance and angle. LMI Using different sensing devices, the Load Moment Indicator monitors various crane functions and provides the operator with a continuous reading of the crane’s capacity. The readings continuously change as the crane moves through the motions needed to make the lift.LMI controls the lifting equipment to function as per the manufacturer's suggested safe load charts. Each of the measured parameters such as load charts, working radius, angle and extension of the crane boom, etc will then further be displayed in the operator's cabin

It is composed of host, display, and various sensors. For complex working conditions, it may need to be equipped with the corresponding expansion module (BOM), data transmission module (DTU), etc., and can provide corresponding customized functions according to the personalized needs of customers;
B. Host
The host is the core unit of the torque limiter, which is mainly used for receiving sensor signals, calculating data, output display information, output control signals and other functions. The host has the following two types:
1. Split type: the display and the main controller are split design, and the display adopts a touch screen;
2. Integrated: integrated design of display and host, non-touch screen;
C. Display
Touch display, type 7', 8', 10', etc.; all-in-one display is 7', with human-computer interactive buttons;
D. Sensors
1. Angle sensor
2. Load sensor
3. Length sensor
4. Switching sensor
5. Wind speed and wind direction sensor
E. Extension modul
As a large lifting equipment, the safety of crawler cranes is very important. Operators cannot rely solely on manual monitoring of the crane's working status when operating the crane. LMI provides comprehensive work monitoring for crawler cranes to assist crane operators in safely operating the crane. The LMI system internally stores the load chart of the crane, monitors the actual working parameters and status of the crane, and displays them on the monitor. And compare these data with the load chart stored inside the LMI system. If it exceeds the safe working range of the load chart, the LMI system will issue a warning alarm signal and output a stop signal. Enable crane operators to fully grasp the actual working conditions of the crane and assist them in safely operating the crane. The LMI system mainly consists of a monitor, a central processing unit, and various sensors. The sensors monitor the working parameters and status of each mechanism of the crane, and the central processing unit of the system performs calculation and analysis to determine whether the crane is working within a safe range, and displays all information on the monitor. Based on the lifting capacity and structural differences of the crane, this document provides two typical LMI system solutions. Different components can also be provided according to customer needs to increase or decrease the system's functionality
