purchasing quantity. Ethylene trifluoroethylene copolymer Ethylene-chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer This material has good properties from low
temperature to 330T, and its strength, wear resistance and creep resistance are much higher than those of PTEE, FEP and PFA. It is resistant to most corrosive chemicals and organic solvents at room temperature and high temperature. Its dielectric constant (2.6) is low, and its performance is stable in a wide range of temperature and frequency. ECTFE does not ignite and can prevent flame diffusion. When exposed to flame, it will decompose into hard carbon. [1] ECTFE can be made into granules for molding and extrusion and powder products for rotary molding, fluidized bed coating and electrostatic coating. It can be processed into foam products by chemical foaming method in traditional extrusion equipment, and will be applied to the field of computer wires. Semi-finished products include membrane, plate, tube and single fiber. The brand of ECTFE products sold by Ausimont USA is Halar. In the field of wires and cables, the most important applications are for booster cables and cables for public transport vehicles. Fire alarm cable, anode protection cable. Injection molding products include tower packing, valve and pump parts, connectors, wire terminals, and filter housings. The application of ECTFE pipe includes optical fiber sleeve, unsupported pipe, steel pipe and reinforced plastic pipe lining. ECTFE coating and lining can prevent metal from being eroded by the environment. The application of membrane is reasonable in battery and isolation. The application of single fiber includes oil mist eliminator, woven sleeve and filter fabric. ECTFE sheet with wide width (48in) and glass fiber as backing can be used as the lining of tank with high chemical resistance and strength requirements |
