Main types and applications include:

1. Transition Roller Table Rollers: Situated between the tin bath and the lehr, these are the first set of rollers the glass ribbon contacts after leaving the molten tin float environment. They must withstand extremely high temperatures (around 600°C+) and smoothly "lift" the ribbon from the tin and feed it into the lehr. They are typically made of heat-resistant silicone rubber or special composites, requiring dimensional accuracy and thermal stability to prevent scratching or distorting the glass.

2. Lehr Conveyor Rollers: Inside the lehr, these rollers support and convey the glass ribbon at a constant speed, allowing it to relieve internal stresses under a controlled cooling curve. These rollers require good heat resistance and stable rotational speed to prevent glass deformation or optical distortion.

3. Cooling Zone and Exit Line Rollers: After the glass has cooled to a lower temperature, rubber rollers are still widely used in subsequent conveying sections. They provide support and motive power to transport the glass plates to the cutting area. At this stage, rollers need abrasion resistance, anti-stick properties, and aging resistance.

Role: By providing smooth, non-scratching support and transport, rubber rollers ensure that the glass ribbon in its hot and fragile state does not deform, develop marks, or get scratched. They are one of the core components ensuring the production of high-quality flat glass via the float process.
