Technical Details
| Model 31000/32000 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies are designed for external mounting of proximity probes through the machine case, primarily serving radially mounted vibration or Keyphasor transducers. The housing, molded from high-strength, corrosion-resistant polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) thermoplastic, is complemented by stainless-steel hardware. It permits external adjustment of probe gap and replacement of the probe or extension cable without disturbing the machine. Units can be supplied pre-installed with 3300 XL proximity probes and a selection of conduit fittings. The assembly meets API 670 requirements for externally mounted proximity probe housings and, when combined with an approved transducer system and appropriate intrinsically safe barriers, supports hazardous-area installations. |
