Gas spring seals are a very important component inside a gas spring, playing a critical role in the overall functionality and service life of this application.
The designs of our gas spring seals are based on a rubber seal bonded permanently onto a metal reinforcement ring to support the sealing lips under pressure . This concept is being chosen in the majority of gas springs as it allows simple installation and reliable functionality, with pressures of up to 200 bar being durably maintained inside the application.

The gas spring seals are vulcanised rubber lip seals on a metal insert. Depending on the its application, the gas spring seal can be made with or without the pre-stressed spring.
